My Best Fashion Tips & Advice To Looking Good

When I was in high school I worked part time at thrift store and I put myself through college working at a variety of retail shops here in the Southwest. Now I’m in my mid-twenties and I still get the urge to help other women who are struggling in the dressing room.
Its easy to get frustrated, it seems that either everything looks great and you can’t afford anything or nothing fits right and you need a new outfit now. Through all my years of experience I’ve found that the biggest obstacles women face is a little number written on the tag.
The best advice I can give to any woman is to pay no attention to the size. Size does not matter. Seriously. I’m not saying this as a “we’re all perfect just they way we are” sentiment, I’m saying that sizing is extremely inconsistent among brands and labels. You may be an “XS” at Forever 21 but an “M” at the Gap, it doesn’t mean you magically got bigger while walking across the mall, it means you should ignore sizes all together and learn to hold up an item and look at it and determine if you think it will fit before the dressing room.
After a while of size free shopping you get amazingly good at knowing what will fit perfectly without the disheartening moment where you find you “went up 2 sizes.” My second piece of advice is to ignore most advice. It’s funny when women will say, “oh I can’t ware that because the stripes will make me look fat.” If you like it try it on and look in the mirror.
You have to learn to trust your own judgment, if you love the way something looks on you get it! If your not certain leave it on the rack. My last piece of advice is to have fun when you get dressed in the morning. Think of yourself as a work of art, your clothing and accessories help you express yourself, the beauty is you change every day.
